ReNacre is a food supplement that combines vitamin D and mother-of-pearl powder. It is designed to supplement vitamin D intake (especially in autumn and winter) and provide highly bioavailable calcium. ReNacre is formulated to help prevent osteoporosis, particularly in postmenopausal women. ReNacre is not in capsule form but as a solution in water, making it easy to consume alongside a diet.

What are the benefits of the vitamin D supplement: ReNacre?

In France in 2020, 30% of people over 30 suffered from long-term joint or bone problems, and 50% of those over 40 suffered from chronic dental problems. These problems are partly linked to the deficiency of calcium and vitamin D in our diets.

ReNacre is a food complex dedicated to maintaining bone mineralization, particularly in situations of deficiency or during the development of osteoporosis.

ReNacre is a nutraceutical that combines pure mother-of-pearl powder , derived from freshwater oyster pearls, and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in liquid form. The mother-of-pearl powder is naturally rich in aragonite and essential amino acids, providing the body with highly bioavailable calcium.

This formula is designed to provide both your bones and teeth with the natural building blocks that allow them to strengthen and improve their stability with age.

ReNacre is a food supplement that helps support the body in several situations:

  • Joint problems

  • Teeth strengthening

  • Pre-dental implant treatment

  • Osteoporosis and osteoarthritis problems, which develop particularly after menopause in women

  • Vitamin D deficiency (for example in autumn/winter)

  • Fracture consolidation

  • Low-calcium diet

Numerous studies also show that daily calcium supplementation could reduce the risk of fractures (Lips et al 2001, Nieves et al 2005, Prince et al 2006).

Ingredients

What are the ingredients of Renacre?

For a highly bioavailable source of calcium: Mother-of-pearl and bone are similar structures resulting from the same process (biomineralization), creating calcium carbonate in the form of aragonite in mother-of-pearl and calcium phosphate in the form of hydroxyapatite in bone. Mother-of-pearl also contains multiple essential amino acids (histidine, lysine, arginine, valine, threonine, proline, methionine, leucine, phenylalanine, tryptophan) that enhance calcium availability.

The French population is often deficient in vitamin D, particularly in winter. Vitamin D is essential for the proper functioning of calcium and phosphate metabolism and therefore for the absorption of calcium necessary for maintaining bone structure.

To maintain its structure, bone is constantly renewed through a process of controlled breakdown of old bone (by osteoclasts) and the formation of new bone (by osteoblasts). Aging and vitamin D deficiency disrupt this process and lead to accelerated bone loss. In ReNacre, we use vitamin D3 ( cholecalciferol).

What makes ReNacre a unique food supplement?

The uniqueness of ReNacre comes from the combination of vitamin D3 ( Cholecalciferol) and pure mother-of-pearl powder that we use:

We import our mother-of-pearl from Australia where one can find one of the few producers of pearl powder from Pinctada Maxima , a large freshwater oyster whose mother-of-pearl pearls are used in jewelry, nutrition and cosmetics.

These pearls are micronized to obtain a mother-of-pearl powder that is easily absorbed by the body, allowing the use of this bio-aragonite by our organism.

Today, very few mother-of-pearl producers use pearl powder . Most of the mother-of-pearl contained in cosmetics and food supplements comes from washed and crushed or scraped shells, which, in addition to killing the oyster, can contain mineral shell waste rather than being composed of pure mother-of-pearl.

The initial formula of ReNacre stems from the work of Professor Evelyne Lopez, Professor at the National Museum of Natural History associated with the CNRS, who spent more than 20 years of her career studying the properties of this very special compound.

His work has proven the activity of mother-of-pearl on bone regeneration and the benefits of mother-of-pearl used as a replacement for enamel, demonstrating its perfect acceptance by the body.

His studies led to the first tests of ReNacre almost 10 years ago, in different galenic forms: capsules, raw powder, liquid, etc.

The original formula has since evolved to crystallize into a liquid form which maximizes the absorption of mother-of-pearl and vitamin D3, and also allows it to be used as a mouthwash to fully benefit from its effects on teeth.

This comprehensive and unique formula is registered and approved by the DGCCRF.

Traceability and transparency:

🦪 The mother-of-pearl powder comes from an Australian producer of Pinctada Maxima, and the vitamin D comes from France where it is purified into its most absorbable form, D-Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3). Due to its ingredients, ReNacre is not a suitable dietary supplement for vegans.

🏭 The mixture of mother-of-pearl powder and vitamin D is then prepared, according to our guidelines, by our partner laboratory Phytocosma in Gers.

🦴 Once mixed, the powder is homogenized in a solution of water purified by us.

How do I use it?

Dosage and instructions for taking the ReNacre supplement

One bottle of ReNacre provides 30 days of supplementation .

We recommend taking 20 drops per day in a large glass of water in the morning.

Due to the presence of mother-of-pearl powder which is prone to sedimentation, the ReNacre bottle should be shaken to homogenize the solution before use.

Contraindications, precautions for use and side effects

Do not use if you have a known intolerance to any of the components, especially if you have a known allergy to crustaceans.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Dietary supplements should be used as part of a healthy lifestyle and a varied and balanced diet.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking any supplements.

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not take ReNacre if:

  • You have a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to calcium, vitamin D, or shellfish/insects.
  • excess calcium (hypercalcemia) in the blood or urine,
  • urinary tract stones containing calcium,
  • prolonged immobilization
  • severe kidney failure

Calcium and vitamin D are essential for the proper functioning of the body. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus, as well as to maintaining normal blood calcium levels. It plays a role in the mineralization of bones, cartilage, and teeth. Vitamin D is also involved in hormonal regulation, the proper functioning of immune system cells, and participates in the differentiation of certain skin cells. ← Click to see references
