Flore Daily is a unique nutraceutical supplement. It's a dietary supplement that combines a variety of probiotics and prebiotics. With two capsules a day, Flore Daily provides over 50 billion strains and aims to contribute to a balanced gut flora (microbiota).

The benefits of Flore Daily and why take care of your microbiota with food supplements?

Quick fact : What is the microbiota? ← Click to learn more

The microbiota is the collection of microorganisms that live in an ecosystem; this is particularly the case in our intestine with the intestinal microbiota.

Our gut contains approximately 1 to 2 kg of microbiota biomass. These microorganisms, grouped into several hundred categories, are about 10 times more numerous than the cells contained in the entire body.

The gut microbiota plays a crucial role in at least two vital functions: digestion and immune system function. Its effectiveness depends primarily on its composition. We have written a simplified article on this topic, available on our blog .

Quick info : What are probiotics and prebiotics? ← Click to learn more

Probiotics are live microorganisms that have positive effects on health. They are found naturally in various fermented foods containing microorganisms (yogurt, cheese, some fermented drinks like kefir...).

The aim of consuming probiotics is to provide a selection of bacteria considered beneficial that will populate the intestine and improve the functioning of our gut microbiota.

Prebiotics are foods that nourish the bacteria in our gut flora. Our microbiota is very sensitive to what we eat. An unbalanced diet with low nutritional quality (for example, fast food) consumed in excess depletes the microbiota and reduces its quality, leading to the development of metabolic disorders. Prebiotics promote a healthy and diverse microbiota. Among prebiotics are oligosaccharides and polysaccharides. These are found in plants and some of their derivatives. Vegetables like Jerusalem artichokes are particularly rich in them.

Flore Daily is a nutraceutical food supplement, a unique symbiotic mix of prebiotics and probiotics . It provides a daily dose of over 50 billion live cultures and 11 diverse probiotic strains to ensure a rich and varied gut microbiota, digestive comfort, and immune system support.

Taking Flore Daily helps maintain a diverse gut microbiota and can be effective in the case of several problems that may be related to the microbiota: transit and bloating problems, weight management, skin problems; but can also help in the prevention of complications after certain treatments that weaken the microbiota, and in strengthening the immune system .

Why is Flore Daily a unique food supplement?

Flore Daily was developed in partnership with a network of diet centers that treat people with weight disorders and related conditions such as diabetes. The goal was to find a way to provide a daily, diverse dose of live cultures typically found in healthy gut microbiomes to balance unhealthy microbiomes and restore normal intestinal function.

Unhealthy food and dietary changes lead to alterations in the gut microbiota. The microbiota can become less efficient, or even harmful to health. Flore Daily was designed to help maintain an optimal and healthy microbiota.

The uniqueness of Flore Daily also stems from the scientific origin of its ingredients: the probiotic strains we use have all been patented and clinically studied to prove the effectiveness of probiotics on the functioning of the body (see the section What science says).

Our quality commitments on Flore Daily:

👉🏻 A local, controlled, made-in-France production , using strains registered in the European strain register

👉🏻 A formulation approach validated by our independent Scientific Council

👉🏻 A selection of active ingredients and a formulation supported by scientific literature

Ingredients

What are the ingredients of the Flore Daily food supplement?

Combination of 11 probiotic strains

Probiotic strains help increase the diversity and richness of the microbiota. We included 8 strains of Lactobacillus, 2 strains of Bifidobacterium lactis, and 1 strain of Enterococcus, with a total dosage of over 50 billion CFU (colony-forming units).

5 sources of prebiotics

Prebiotics such as inulin or fructo-oligosaccharides help to nourish the bacteria of the microbiota and thus increase their chances of survival in the body.

One DR-CAPS extended-release capsule

A DR-CAPS extended-release capsule: this capsule protects fragile probiotics from saliva and gastric juices to deliver them directly to the intestines.

How do I use it?

Dosage and instructions for taking

We recommend taking 2 Flore Daily capsules in the morning, on an empty stomach, with a large glass of water.

We recommend taking Flore Daily as a one-month course of treatment.

It takes about two weeks to notice significant changes in intestinal well-being.

In addition to taking Flore Daily, we recommend implementing hygiene and dietary measures:

  • Reduce the amount of fast food consumed
  • Increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Avoid ultra-processed foods
  • If possible, engage in daily physical activity.

Contraindications, precautions for use and side effects

Dietary supplements should be used as part of a healthy lifestyle and a varied and balanced diet.

Do not use if you have a known intolerance to any of the components.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should be used as part of a healthy lifestyle and a varied and balanced diet. Keep out of reach of children.

At the beginning of treatment, mild and transient digestive problems may appear (changes in bowel movements and flatulence).

In the case of inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, etc.) we recommend consulting a doctor before taking any probiotics.

Science

What science says

Dietary supplementation with prebiotic agents leads to a positive modification of the gut microbiota (increased bifidobacteria and lactobacillus) as well as an increase in short-chain fatty acids, beneficial for the gut, in stool. Furthermore, prebiotic supplementation has been shown to reduce markers of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes (i.e., fasting blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, fasting insulin, HOMA-IR). In addition, a reduction in endotoxemia and pro-inflammatory cytokines has been reported in overweight or obese individuals. ← Click to see references

Dietary supplementation with multi-strain probiotic blends or synbiotics is well tolerated and leads to transient changes (which disappear after several weeks of discontinuing supplementation) in the composition of the gut microbiota, with a reduction in digestive discomfort and bloating in patients suffering from intestinal disorders (irritable bowel syndrome, functional bowel disorders, etc.). In obese or overweight individuals, increased satiety, a reduction in waist circumference, weight, and insulin resistance have been reported. From a molecular perspective, supplementation has also been shown to improve intestinal permeability and modulate tryptophan metabolism, particularly that of kynurenine, which is altered in certain conditions such as obesity . ← Click to see references.
